The Ash tree is a powerful historical symbol in Nordic mythology. Yggdrasil, the world tree, is a massive ash that connects the nine worlds and is the place the gods hold their council. The penultimate symbol of life the ash also represents potency, health and prosperity. The Elm tree represents strength, and in Greek mythology, the hero Orpheus, having rescued his wife Eurydice from the Underworld , paused to play her a love song at which spot the first elm grove was said to have sprung. In Germanic mythology, the first woman  is made from an elm, the first man is made from an ash . Herein I intend to inspire connections, encourage healthy choices, support the building of strength, and promote wisdom for building loving relationships.
